Sharon is a Practitioner Health Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC) and Chartered with the British Psychological Society (BPS). She has worked in Health Psychology research and practice for over 20 years holding a variety of private, academic and clinical NHS roles. After qualifying in 2005 Sharon was responsible for developing a specialist Health Psychology Service for patients with eye cancer at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital (2005-2009). She also held a Medical Research Council (MRC) Population Health Scientist Research Fellowship and has taught medical and psychology students at the University of Liverpool and University of Central Lancashire. She currently works part-time in an NHS Hospital Clinical Psychology Department specialising in working into cancer and palliative care services.
Sharon works privately out of the Cheshire Wellness Centre and Online. She also works independently for OcuMelUK a national charity supporting patients with ocular melanoma.
