Dr. Joachim Chan

Dr Chan studied medicine at Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine (now known as Imperial College London), graduating with distinction. He undertook postgraduate medical training in London and specialist Clinical Oncology training at Clatterbridge Cancer Centre. He was appointed as Clinical Research Fellow at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre and was awarded an MD from the University of Liverpool with his doctoral thesis on hypofractionated dose painting radiotherapy for prostate adenocarcinoma. He currently works as a Clinical Oncology Consultant and specialises in upper GI cancer, bladder cancer and prostate cancer.
