Dr Ehab Ibrahim has completed specialist training in palliative medicine and clinical oncology.
Dr Ibrahim completed his undergraduate training in Egypt and MSc in oncology before moving to the UK to undertake specialist training. He completed duel training in palliative medicine North Western Deanery working in secondary, tertiary care, community and hospice.
He went on to clinical oncology training which was completed in 2018 at the Christie hospital and then joined the Clatterbridge Cancer Centre in January 2019 as consultant specialise in lung, head and neck cancers.
He held different roles since joining with special interest in undergraduate medical education. Dr Ibrahim had worked with undergraduate committee of Royal College of Radiologists during and after his training to enhance engagement of medical student with oncology training and education.
He supervises medical and student and clinical oncology trainees during their training rotation. He is an active member of Lung and Head & Neck Cancers treating and active recruiting to observational and intervention clinical trials. He has been principle and sub investigator to many phase 3 trials in in symptoms control, lung, head and neck cancers.
Dr Ibrahim spent majority of my time spilt between lung cancer and head & neck cancer. I am active recruiter to lung cancer and head & neck cancer clinical trials. I offer specialist radiation service. e.g. stereotactic radiation to lung tumour. He provides service for radical and palliative radiotherapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy and target treatment for lung cancer and head & neck cancer. I have a managerial role as the lead of H&N cancer group in NHS trust.
Outside professional life Ehab juggle between work and personal life having 2 teenage keeping him on feet all the time.
