Clatterbridge Private Clinic gives out free hot chocolate this festive season

The Clatterbridge Private Clinic was honoured to be able to sponsor the festive period Hot Chocolate and treats for all our colleagues in CCC Trust and the subsidiary companies. On the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th of December, at Halton, Wirral, Liverpool, Paddington, The Spine, and Aintree, we set up our free hot chocolate stall for all to enjoy.

Each day, colleagues were offered a free Hot Chocolate with marshmallows and sprinkles, plus the choice of a mince pie, cookie or chocolate bar. A small pick me up to get them through their shifts! This coincided with our Christmas Jumper Day, and as you can see from the pictures, everyone got in a festive mood and had lots of fun.

At the Clatterbridge Private Clinic, we are always looking for ways to give back to our colleagues, patients and the wider community. Community projects are an important part of our mission and supporting our colleagues in the NHS is a key part of this. In fact, 49% of our profits go back to the NHS.

Duncan Armfield the General Manager of CPC said:

“When we were offered the opportunity to sponsor the event we eagerly took this up. It gives us a chance, in this small way, to thank our colleagues for all the help and support they give us every day in delivering excellent treatments for our patients. It is a wonderful team we have together and we know all our Clatterbridge patients get the very best care when they get their treatments.”

“Having this partnership is unique and something we treasure, as it makes our patients and their family experience and memories so much better. Plus we had lots of fun on the day as we began the festive celebrations, and look forward to spending some time with our families. To those colleagues who work throughout the Christmas period, we thank you for the care you will give, sacrificing time at home to deliver that care to our patients.”

The clinic would like to thank the CCC communications team, especially Susan and Emily for helping to organise, and Love Sweet Love Events’ Susie and Conrad for making and helping to serve the Hot Chocolate. We hope everyone enjoyed their festive treat and look forward to our next event!
