Clatterbridge Private Clinic continues its support of the Clatterbridge Cancer Charity

The Clatterbridge Private Clinic has continued its support and donations to the Clatterbridge Cancer Charity over the months leading up to Christmas. Clatterbridge Private Clinic and the Clatterbridge Cancer Charity have had a long-standing relationship, with the clinic supporting the charity in their fundraising efforts over the years.

On the 10th of October, the private clinic had a table at the Clatterbridge Cancer Charity Annual Ball at the Titanic Hotel in Liverpool. It was an excellent evening themed around musicals with fabulous performances from local arts clubs and performers. Several of the private clinic team attended, including some of the nursing and admin teams, as well as some of our amazing consultants. That night, the charity raised over £240,000, the highest amount they’ve ever raised, which will go towards supporting research and care for cancer patients at Clatterbridge.

The event brought together hundreds of donors and partners to celebrate the work the charity does, and as always, incredibly generous donations were auctioned off, which contributed significantly to the final figure.

For Christmas, the Clatterbridge Private Clinic has donated a superb Fortnum and Mason Hamper for the charity’s Christmas Raffle. The picture shows Lesley Woodhead from the charity receiving the hamper from Clatterbridge Private Clinic’s General Manager Duncan Armfield.

Duncan Armfield, General Manager at the Clatterbridge Private Clinic, presents Lesley Woodhead from the Clatterbridge Cancer Charity with a Fortnum and Mason hamper for the charity raffle.

Duncan said, “The private clinic is proud and honoured to support the Clatterbridge Cancer Charity to raise those valuable funds going towards cancer care in our area. The charity team work so hard every day, driven by the knowledge of how much this helps patients.”

“One recent example is on the back of research and after the private clinic purchased and used Hilotherm hand and feet cooling machines that significantly reduce neuropathy during some chemotherapy treatments, the charity agreed to purchase a number for the cancer centre to benefit more NHS patients. They truly are marvellous people, and please donate if you can.”
