Dr Farida Alam

Dr Alam has extensive general medical experience and after acquiring MRCP she completed her specialist training in oncology at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre, where she was appointed consultant in 2009. Her main clinical interests are the treatment of breast cancer, sarcomas, paediatric tumours and cancers in teenagers and young adults. Dr Alam has a special interest in palliative radiotherapy and is the lead for the palliative radiotherapy clinic at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre. She is also an active participant in teaching and training junior doctors and is the undergraduate education lead at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre.
