Clatterbridge Private Clinic are thrilled to announce that we are now the official sponsor of a local football team, Oldershaw Diamonds CAFC! The Oldershaw Diamonds is a talented girls’ football team based in Wallasey.
Clatterbridge Private Clinic sponsored them earlier this year, and Janine Wilkinson, Patient Service Lead at the Clatterbridge Private Clinic, went down to present the teams with a brand-new kit and water bottles for all the players! Janine told them,
“Clatterbridge Private Clinic is delighted to sponsor the team, and seeing all the talented young athletes have such dedication, teamwork, and enjoyment made it even better. Good luck, Oldershaw Diamonds, for the rest of the season!”
Just as the England Women’s Team shines on the world stage, these incredible young athletes are lighting up our local pitch with passion and skill. We’re not just backing a team; we’re supporting dreams, determination, and the love for the beautiful game.
We’re proud to support all of our community to participate in and enjoy sports. These talented young athletes are showing incredible dedication and teamwork, and we’re excited to be a part of their journey.
At Clatterbridge Private Clinic, we’re always looking for ways to give back. That’s why 49% of the profits made by the clinic get invested back into the NHS, as we want to help fund care for everyone, and supporting our NHS and all the incredible work they do is so important.
We regularly support the Clatterbridge Cancer Charity, too, with staff members from the Clatterbridge Private Clinic partaking in fundraising events to raise money for the charity to support and grow cancer services for the Clatterbridge patients.
Giving back to the local community is just another way we can help, and what better way than encouraging young people to take part in a sport they love and help make their dream of playing football a reality?
Grassroots football is often at the heart of communities and a great way to introduce children to the sport. Grassroots football clubs only earn money through fundraising and sponsorships, so the clinic sponsoring the team will help in some way to ensure the great work the club puts into training and coaching these young athletes will continue. We’re looking forward to seeing how they progress and grow throughout our sponsorship. Some of these ladies may even be future Lionesses!
This is the first of many sponsorships we hope to implement and the beginning of our community support initiatives. Stay tuned to find out more about what we do next.
